The Enchanted

'About as sophisticated as a sausage sandwich, but every bit as tasty' - Terrorizer. The Enchanted released their debut album "Trust in Death and Rebirth" (recorded at Akercocke's Goat of Mendes studios) in March 2002, receiving excellent review's in Mags and Zines including Terrorizer and Power Play. As well as this The Enchanted were voted 5th "Best Newcomer" and Fourth "Best unsigned act" of 2002 in the Terrorizer readers poll. Prior to the release of the Album The Enchanted played the Terrorizer Xmas bash, in support of Impaled Nazarene. Since the album The Enchanted have had a full page interviews in Terrorizer as well as interviews and cover tracks with many other mags and zines. After signing a record deal with Golden Lake Productions, the band released the EP, "For those who fall..." in the Spring of 2004. During the following two years the, the band gigged all over the country again, and also supported Enslaved at their one-off show in London on January 2004 - their only European show for the "Below The Lights" album. In the summer of 2006, the band put things on hold. This hiatus though carried on longer than they had anticipated. But in late 2013, the band announced that they will indeed be heading back in to the studio in 2014 to record new material.
