The DC Hunters

The DC Hunters is the brain child of Knowledge Shabazz. He has the reputation of being a Funk-Rock, Go-go, Hip Hop type of artist. He likes heavy drum beats, lots of percussions and lots of guitar riffs. He recently finished his first concept album "Norfeast to Nawlins". The concept is an album combining the Gogo sounds of Washington DC with the Mardi Gras Indian chants of New Orleans Louisiana. The album also contains the hit "116 Barrone" which is a wildly popular sound of 2nd line Brass band with a Gogo pocket. The album features known musicians from the Washington DC area and New Orleans like Hardnett 7, Wardell Howell Jr., Da Truth Brass Band, Big chief Brian Harrison-Nelson, Spyboy Ace, Tyrone (Congoman) Chapman, David Suggs, Vonn the Viscous and a host of family and friends.
