Steve Borth, Sr.

Steve Borth, I began writing music in his teens that would be released by Christian youth groups across the south in the late 60s, early 70s. Two of his songs, Peace and Nothing Soothes the Soul Like Jesus have been translated into multiple languages and recorded by many groups. One notable work was the 13 song The Great Controversy Cantata, a musical walk through the Bible. His first solo album, Nothing Soothes the Soul in 1977 was followed by three more Gospel based albums that were released under the Alpenglow Label in Texas. These Country-Gospel albums were Praise With Understanding, Welcome Back to Our House and Lord, Reach Through Me and Touch. Today, Steve is venturing into a completely new genre. His unique Americana styled new EP, "Home as Soon as I Can” is a collaboration with his son Steven Jess Borth, II as producer and is now available for purchase. ​All of Steve, I's musical projects are available digitally on I-Tunes, Amazon, Google Play and Spotify, including a new Christmas single featuring Simple Things and Christmas Country Style.
