A founding member of the London hip hop group “Soundminds” (formed in 2001) he has opened up for the likes of Moka Only, Snak The Ripper, Ghetto Socks, Fresh Kills, Phife Dawg, Brother Ali, Zion I, Scratch from The Roots, Classified and many more. Now exploring beat production with Jazzy Boombap sample based tracks, Prime’s passion for music and the manipulation of the English language keeps his drive and creativity constantly working. Eli The Prophet - Born and raised in London, Ontario, life-long musician and multi-instrumentalist Chris Rowan has channeled his inner emcee to bring you Eli The Prophet. A veteran of the South-Western Ontario metal scene for over a decade, and a life-long fan of hip-hop, he knew entering the rap game in a meaningful way would be no small feat. Canada's very own proverbial rap prophet is here to spit the truth and call out whack rappers everywhere, starting with his hometown of London and moving across Ontario and Canada. His prophecy has allowed him the privilege of chopping it up with veterans such as RA The Rugged Man, Prada West, Young Stitch, Casper The Ghost, Junk, Dax, Jarren Benton, Dizzy Wright, Demrick, Dan-e-o, Ouija Mac, Violent J, Peter Jackson, Es, Spade of Citizen Kane and Millyz among others. The Soul Vibe Syndicate embodies many things but, at its core consists of rappers and producers Eli The Prophet and Lionize Prime. The two are long time musicians with wildly different histories. L Prime heads up most of the production aspects, while Eli focuses more on hooks and marketing. As for the music, they pair jazz, blues, soul and rock samples with boombap beats, infused with classic hiphop and new school flows. The emcees drastically different styles and sounds come together to give you the Soul Vibe Syndicate or, SVS.
