Soul Risin'

Soul Risin' is the Syracuse-based jam band whose sound spans from southern rock to funk, blues, reggae and bluegrass jams... with a touch of genuine soul, of course. Formed in 2006 and thriving off of their live shows, the group brings together this array of musical influences and styles to get any venue grooving. Soul Risin' has been the support act of choice for many artists who travel through Central New York, including The Fray, Marshall Tucker Band, RAQ, U-Melt, Devon Allman, Michael Glabiki (Rusted Root), Grace Potter and many others. Soul Risin' released their debut CD, When The Bridges Begin To Burn (2007), to rave reviews in Central New York, and in May 2010, they released their follow-up album, The Opposite of Goodbye. (2010) to even more praise.
