Sorrow By Truth In the words of Nathan Explosion, I think this band could certainly be called “brutal”. Heavy metal like I haven’t heard in awhile. Vocally its a deep, from-the-gut, screamfest, and musically it reminds me of a throw back to old metal like Metallica’s Black Album or Master of Puppets. You know, the good stuff before we found out James Hetfield was a whiny little sell-out. We are currently a 4 piece (number 5 could be you!) metal band from the Midwest... Manhattan, KS to be precise. Formed in 2005, SBT has gigged all over Northeast Kansas and shared the stage with many great acts. If you like metal, there's something for you in the music of Sorrow by Truth. Sometimes thrashy, mellow, melodic, but always HEAVY. The band is currently undergoing a rough patch as we all have jobs and families to tend to, which has unfortunately slowed progress down. We always have an eye on the future, though. Obviously, a HUGE thanks goes out to all of our fans for keeping us motivated!
