Sofia enjoys performing different styles of music, but when you sit down and listen to the artist you will know that vocally her talents are jazzy, playful, soulful and funky. “Parts of my performances are improvisations. I enjoy being playful on the stage and I always want to surprise the audience”, says Sofia. Sofia recorded LP on Umblu Record Label, releasing her first LP “My Sun” in 2007. In 2008 Sofia along with Rulers of the Deep hit the charts with the award winning single “Planet Drum”. The video was aired on MTV Europe and MTV Baltic. The LP was successful throughout Europe, but it took some adventurous DJ’s to import the single to a new radio audience abroad. Sofia collaborated with DJ Andy Ward in the summer of 2009 with the upbeat and jazzy track “Streets of the Sun”. The song was an immediate hit on the dance floors in the U.K. and created a timeless summer dance classic. Sofia’s “Make Me Beautiful” produced by Reelgroove took the #1 spot on Traxsource the beginning of January 2010. This bumping house groove will undoubtedly be the house hit for dance clubs worldwide www.traxsource.com.
