Dave Marshall

Dave Marshall is a veteran guitarist and vocalist and has performed all over the U.S. "Dave honed his skills in several genres by backing musicians he would classify as the real deal. Be it Rock, Country, Blues or Acoustic music he always looked for players who were deeply rooted in the music they played. Since 2006 he has played countless solo acoustic shows, led his own roots rock band (Marshall West) and played bass for Dallas Alley all in The Ute Pass region of Colorado. Everything started coming together after releasing a CD in late 2010. First, three songs got airplay on The John Rose Show on Chicago Public Radio. That led to invitations to more internet radio stations. Recently his song Earth and Sky was selected as the backing track for a "support local music" public service announcement. This sixty second radio spot ran on over one hundred terrestrial radio stations thruout the western states. After being away from music for a few years, I came home and started a new local band. Writing and recording however are my main focus at this time. Always interested to hear about opportunities with professional groups. A new CD focusing on Sleepys solo acoustic style is due by spring 2012 if not sooner. In the meantime he's back on the road playing shows in Colorado, New Mexico and all over Texas. When you see the RV with Colorado plates come to your venue, get ready for a good time and some great songs !
