Praise comes before Worship We begin in the outer courts... So glad to be welcomed in as we stray into the House of the Lord, just as we are. No pretences, broken, weary, tired, feeling guilty and sinful, glad or sad but responding to the welcoming, warm beckoning call from the Holy Spirit to enter in. This is the place where we share songs of testimonies and praise, about who God is, how Great He is, kindling and stiring that truthful rememberance that the Lord is good and his love endures forever. We then move into the inner courts as we are guided by the Holy Spirit into intimacy, where upon receiving a revelation of the beauty of the Lord Jesus, His love and mercy, we are drawn into worship and repentance through beautifully simple, accessible, sincere and scriptural songs of love and surrender. We then worship and bow down, singing, confessing, praying one to one to the Lord out maker. We re-enter that precious sacred space yet again, the Holy of Holies where we can disrobe our defences, unhinge our hinges and just be. . . We are comforted by the gracious love of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ, where, just like His lambs, we are fed by our loving sheperd. We can then face the days that lie ahead with a humble and blessed assurance of who we are in Him and who He is in every circurmstance. This is Praise and Worship. The Place.
