SHARI PUORTO - Singer / Songwriter / Performer/Children's author Recently moved back to the East Coast from Los Angeles, CA Shari Puorto is a national touring, acclaimed American singer, songwriter, and performer celebrated for her compelling fusion of blues, roots rock, and Americana. With a career spanning over two decades, she’s released multiple albums to date and is known for her electrifying stage presence. She is a powerhouse vocalist with a deeply expressive voice, Shari's performances are immersive and unforgettable. Shari is proud to perform alongside her partner, Doug Woolverton who is a 2x Grammy nominated, 1x Emmy nominated musician from New England who is the trumpet player in the Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band. Shari has opened the show for many a great artists such as, Kansas, Robben Ford, Walter Trout, Tower of Power, and many more! One of late being the double album dedicated to the memory of Bugs Henderson, “The Kind of Clubs” Shari sang a duet with Jimmy Vivino & backing band consisted of, Chuck Kavooras, Steve Ferrone, Bill Mumy, Kenny Lee Lewis, & Jimmy Vivino. Shari also lent backing vocals to “Cowboy” sung by, Lou Diamond Phillips. In 2013 & 2014, Shari was asked to perform 2 years in a row at the Seymour Duncan “Notes for Notes” benefit singing & performing with, Robert Randolph, Slash, Joe Bonamassa, Robben Ford, Jimmy Vivino, Don Felder, Alan Parsons, Rich Robinson, & more!
