Huguenin

Singer, Guitarist, Songwriter who loves performing music. I have two solo releases out: All Gone Wild (2003) For You (2008) Where From Here (2015) Biography Born January 8th 1973 in Woonsocket Rhode Island. Sean began his musical journey at the age of 7 when he picked up his first Sears and Roebucks, Harmony Guitar. From there he practiced and at age 12 learned some piano. He later in High school, joined the Thornton Academy Jazz Choir in Maine. His first real musical band adventure was when he filled in singing for a band known as “Shirak” and the music style was that of old Metallica and Megadeth. The band and memory was short lived as Sean moved back to Rhode Island. Later that year he played for a band in Massachusetts known as “Staightaway” and spent the last year and a half, 90-91 playing cover and original glamour rock songs, which was very big in 90. After Graduation in 1991, Sean joined the U.S. Army Reserves and in 1994 The National Guard. In 1994 he formed a band with his hometown high school friends and the band was called “Legal Limit”, and it was there that all of Sean’s original ideas and music came to life. In 1995 a tape was recorded with these songs and held for a later time. Well that time never came and in 1996 Sean moved to Des Moines, Iowa and answered an add for a vocalist for the band “ Defyance” www.defyance.com. Defyance took him to a level that he’s never been in his life as a musician, but with strong desire and determination, he was going to give it a shot. In 1997 he left Defyance for personal reasons and left behind, great memories and friends. The last call came in 1998, when he answered an add for a guitarist vocalist for a cover classic rock top 40’s band. It was right up his alley and the band blended well together and played nonstop for 6 years till 2004. After the retirement of Later Daze, Sean went into the studio with former band mates; Marcus Peterson and Doug Beary from Defyance, along with Bassist Joel Andres of “Can of Worms & Rabbit Punch” and recorded his solo cd “All Gone Wild” in 2003 and later hit the road in support of the Cd. Sean and Defyance member’s Doug Beary and Marcus Peterson decided to keep the fun going and formed “More Than This,” which had 2 very successful years of playing. Unfortunately in 2005 Sean was called to Active Duty in Support of Iraqi Freedom and spend 16 months in Baghdad, Iraq. After returning, he decided to stop performing, but continue writing and recording original compositions. In 2006, the creation of the next CD “Where From Here,” has been started, but was soon put on hold when Sean's best friend Scott Carney was killed in Combat while fighting in Afghanistan. Sean then decided to release a Cd entitled,"For You" with fellow musicians, Marcus Peterson, Doug Beary and Rob Haspels, which contained 5 personal songs dedicated to the men and women of the Armed Forces which is to be released in late April, early May 2008. After that he was joined by TSO members Kelly Keeling, Andrew Ross, Maxx Mann and the band Permanent Reverse featuring Marty Paris and Corky McClellen to do a Salute Iowa Heroes Benefit Concert. After that Sean appeared invited as a guest performer with Kelly Keeling and friends at the House of Blues in New Orleans which was the last show Sean would do before taking a break. In 2013 Sean joined up with musicians out of Rockford IL and formed the 80's Hairband Tribute called Sunset Strip and performing regularly for a year. Now back in 2014 to finish the long started and awaited "Where From Here" Release which is finished and will be released Spring 2015. Besides music, Sean enjoys spending his free time with his wife Starr, son Sabastion, and his two beautiful daughter’s Tristan and Kayla and with them the Great Outdoors. Sean is a very avid Bow Hunter and loves to Fish. He says, “it‘s just the way of life.” You can follow his music at www.myspace.com/seanmhuguenin. Rock-On!
