Rebel Bran (Branislav Vrbaski)

One of my songs from my first album just got included in the semifinal of the Unsigned Only 2019, songwriting competition from Nashville, USA . It's been 10 years since I recorded my first album. With big expectations at the beginning, and rapidly changing music industry, it has been quite a disillusioning experience. I've never sent songs to any music competition, constantly fighting the industry predators who are still attacking, with no intention to actually help with what I need. With some new music in progress recently , I've decided to send them to a competition, and with them, one of the old songs. Turns out, people listen. Turns out, the music doesn't age. The album was called "You and I... Twenty Years Later" With ten years after I made it, it's been thirty years since I started dreaming. Some of the songs I made almost 40 years ago, and they still touch people. I'm still in kind of a shock, but what this does for sure is that it inspires me to keep doing what I'm doing. That was the whole point to begin with. I am happy. Thank you!
