Qibho Intalektual

Qibho Intalektual is an MCee/Poet who hails from the Kingdom of Swaziland. His style of poetry is a blend of witty,thought-provoking and intelligent spoken word. As an MCee,his unmistakable signature style is deeply embedded in conscious Hip Hop music. His songs reflect honest social commentary ranging from story-telling,skillful wordplay and well-thought out concepts. Qibho Intalektual is the reigning Sprite Urban Expressions (Swaziland) Rap Freestyle Champion,2010/2011. He is also a Tihlabani Awards 2010,Best Poet of the Year Nominee. This Poet/MCee has performed at the Bush Fire Festival,alongside fellow artists such as Lira and Freshlyground. He has also performed at the world renowned Arts Alive International Festival at the historical Bassline,Newtown,Johannesburg,alongside Mphutlane Wa Bofelo,Napo Masheane,NKQO,Pops Mohamed,Zubs,Ntsiki Mazwai,Ewok,Outspoken and The Essence,The Lazarusman,PO Box and Queen GodIs (USA). Furthermore,he has appeared on South Africa's leading Hip Hop magazine,HYPE Mag. He has also opened for Tumi and the Volume,David Kau and Bholoja. He is part of a group of the finest MCees in the Kingdom of Swaziland called The MOVEMENT,which is widely known for releasing the first Hip Hop music mixtape in the country. He is also a member of Rooted Soulz,which is the only poetry organization in the kingdom. Moreover,he features on the widely successful Psycho-tik Revolution EP by Swaziland's premier MCee Psycho-Lution. He features on both installments of Mvasi's Finest Compilations. He also features on the immensely popular and successful SIYINQABA album by Mozaik and KRTC which also won the Tihlabani Awards 2010,Album of the Year award.
