hilljack:(A hillbilly snob)is a 3 1/2 piece band that began in Nashville when members began writing songs for other artists. After scoring 3 #1 and 6 top ten country hits, they decided to group. Paul Jefferson-lead vocals and inventive guitar. Jon Putnam-bass and vocals. Jay Lessert-vocal, kick drum and more. hilljack's single “This Could Get Good”, made the top twenty on GAC’s video countdown. Made 2 recent appearances on the Grand Ole Opry and performed in LA at the '05 New Music Weekly Awards and received “Country Group of the Year”!
