Patrick Egan

Pat Egan originally from Ireland moved to the United States twenty years ago to pursue his love of playing music and singing . Joining the group Chulrua turning out 3 CD's to great acclaim. Last summer he left Chulrua to pursue other musicial avenues. Recording with long time friend Alex Caton to produce the CD "Fiddle tunes and Ballads' a mix of Irish , Old Time tunes and songs. Pat is known for his choice of storied songs delivered with a powerful emotive feel. His driving rhythm Guitar and the use of standard tuning has made him very popular with students that wish to continue to play in this tuning rather than change to one of the many open tuning's to accompany the music.
