Patrick Spicer Cassidy is a singer-songwriter whose music blends blues, jazz, rock, country, and alternative influences, rooted in his upbringing in western Nebraska. Drawn to music from an early age, he followed in the footsteps of his late father and his aunt, Sarah Spicer, finding his voice both as a guitarist and a storyteller. His first professional experience came as the lead blues guitarist for the youth blues band Skinny Legs and All in Western North Carolina.
In his late teens, Patrick began writing songs as a way to process personal struggles with mental health, turning lived experience into connection through lyrics and melody. Songwriting became both a form of healing and a bridge to others facing similar challenges. That journey culminated in his debut album Oxygen—a deeply personal project over a decade in the making—centered on themes of loss, resilience, and renewal.
