Pat Quinn
Pat Quinn cannot be put into any category. She does it all: country, folk, rock, ballads, contemporary - adding to her arrangements bits and pieces of traditional musicality and instruments. The social consciousness she brings to her lyrics are moving and inspiring and add ever more layers to her eclectic collection of songs. Pat started playing music in Pennsylvania. She soon joined a bluegrass band and switched from guitar to bass. Moving to Los Angeles introduced her to country and was an original member of a band called the Eddys led by Ed Black who had previously been with Linda Ronstadt. She has played bass and sang backup vocals for Lucinda Williams, Rosie Flores and various other bands in the LA area. Pat took a long hiatus from music and has only come back to it a few years ago. She started to focus on her on own songwriting and will soon release an album called "Long Way to Heaven"
