Noah Collins

A Chattanooga native, Noah Collins lived in the Dominican Republic for twenty-four months. It was there in the “campos” where Collins says he developed his percussive finger picking style. 2007 brought him back home to begin work on his debut release Heart on a Line. Americana-UK gave the album 7 of 10 stars after its release in 2008. With coarse, heart-filled vocals comparable to Manchester-born musician David Gray and American songwriter Bob Dylan, Noah Collins delivers a moving performance. A compositional minimalist, Collins compliments simple words with discreet rhythms.
