Mr. Bogard

Mr. Bogard was born James R. "J.R." Bogard in Southern Indiana. Bogard, a member of Ballpark Music and Flashmob, draws on everyone from Atmosphere to Carolina Chocolate Drops, Rakim to Audioslave, and Bob Marley to CCR for influence and inspiration. Bogard spent two years on the road writing songs and recording in Los Angeles, CA, Atlanta, GA, and Miami, FL. He also spent a period of time where he was homeless, at which point he stayed in the Florida Everglades reflecting and writing music. He released The Freshman Veteran EP in April of 2010 and is currently working on a free download, a collaborative effort with fellow Ballpark / Flashmob artist Jack Flash is ...Dead?, and a full-length album all set to release before the end of 2012. Bogard currently resides in his beach-front apartment in Pompano Beach, FL.
