In terms of the music, M.D.R. has been taking new directions lately. The band started as a tribute to 70’s and 80’s Hard Rock Blues, with a distinct, yet classically inspired sound. But lately, with the addition of a new singer, the music has taken on a unique blend of soul-inspired melodies and lyrics, combined with the band’s characteristic groves, dynamic changes, heavy drums and addictive guitar-riffs. It both is reminiscent of the old days of rock’n’roll, but at the same time adding modern elements to the songs to bring a truly unique and distinct sound.
