Minion

Minion is a three piece band hailing from the GTA/Hamilton area. The early stages of what is now Minion began almost 15 years ago. Raw and uncut, with no fancy gimmicks or gadgets their style can be described as pure in your face Hard Rock. Striving not to be a cookie cutter version of today's music, Minion is set to re-introduce a refreshing take on to the scene. Minion is fronted by the powerhouse vocals of Dave Carrier and not only is he the band's front man but he is also responsible for the bands deep, melodic bass lines. Ian Labrie is the composer and lead guitarist of the group, who pumps out kick-ass power riffs, complimented by a wide range of forged rhythms. The backbone of the band comes from Cody Laidlaw on drums, who’s attention to detail is very precise. His dynamic range of sounds and unique drumming style are impressive. Together Minion's dedication and passion are clearly evident. With their seemingly endless song writing capabilities, this band sure has an energetic and compelling story to tell.
