Independent Hard-Rock, Heavy-Metal duo from Rocky River, Ohio, MIKEVNINE (pronounced mī kev′nīn), formed in 2010 around band mates Michael Matta (vocals/bass/lyrics) Kevin Traster (vocal/guitar/instrumentation) to create a sound mixed with elements of hard-rock, punk, metal, blues, and industrial. Matta's raspy and wispy, cadence-style vocals and Traster's high-energy melodies blend seamlessly to set the mood and create their signature sound: described as half Linkin Park/half Metallica—in a horror movie. The Duo's debut album has a tentative release date of December 16, 2014 on iTunes, Amazon, and other selected sites.
