MELVIS MUSIC

Anyone who'd like to record, use a song in your project/movie/TV Show or anything else just contact us and we can talk it over. We use a standard mechanical license contract on most songs. We write mostly country but, are starting to write many other genres of music. Including Rock, Funk, New Age, Instrumentals and more. We are looking forward to what the future has for us. The pandemic has slowed everything down. Hopefully things will start to get better and we will start to see more exciting things happening with our music. We are starting to get back a lot of great feedback. We signed a 68 song contract with a publisher/promoter who has a history of many placements in Movies ,TV shows and advertisements. Can't wait to see what the future holds. Wish us luck. If you have any questions or comments or if you'd like to record one of our songs please email me at: melvis2000@yahoo.com - First I'd like to thank all the Radio stations in the US and around the world for playing my songs. We really appreciate it. I just found out from ancestry DNA that I'm 37% Scottish, 36% England and Northwestern Europe, 12% Ireland, 11% Wales, 2% Norway, 2% German. I'm a mutt. lol I started writing songs in 1998. We just signed a promotion deal and hopefully you'll be hearing our songs on TV and Film. I'm proud to say that I have over 100 songs recorded and over 300 lyrics ready to record. I mostly like writing my own songs, but have written a lot of songs with Garrick Alden, Jack Boucher, Tsutomu Aoko, Kay Carnell, Kathy Pettigrew and Mike Harwood. It's just something I love doing. There's no better feeling when you take an idea, put it on paper and finally hear the recorded version of something you wrote. I try to write songs about life and my surroundings. Sometimes I can get an idea just by talking to someone. If you'd like a song written for one of your projects, just contact me and we can work something out. My email is melvis2000@yahoo.com I'm also in the process of writing a book about my life growing up in the mountains of West Virginia. Life was hard sometimes but nothing can ever take away the beauty of the mountains in West Virginia. I'll keep everyone updated on the book as it comes together. I'd appreciate any comments you have on my songs, good or bad. It won't hurt my feelings. Just remember, We as songwriters are here to write songs about Love, Life and help people keep their minds off the daily stress of just trying to live life. The world is becoming a very stressful place, so music can help be a distraction from that. So please take a listen and try to enjoy life. Thanks, Melvis.
