Melissa Otero

Melissa Otero is an internationally acclaimed Latin pop recording artist, songwriter, and producer whose music has reached millions of viewers around the world. Her breakout single “Angels and Demons” was featured on Lifetime’s global hit series Dance Moms, broadcast in over 100 countries, launching her into international recognition. She later released Spanish-language versions of the song — including “No Soy Un Ángel” and “With You (Contigo)” — which were featured on the official soundtrack of Telemundo’s primetime telenovela Reina de Corazones, aired across Latin America, the U.S., and Europe. In 2025, Melissa was honored with Gold and 3× Platinum certifications by the Independent Recording Arts Alliance (IRAA) in recognition of her lasting cultural impact and fan support across platforms. A cinematic storyteller and passionate independent artist, Melissa continues to create music that fuses Latin pop with emotional depth — bridging languages, borders, and genres. Melissa is also a philanthropist and has created the Stardust Foundation, which provided much-needed relief to Puerto Rico due to Hurricane Maria on September 20, 2017 by raising over 7k and helped over 150 families in her hometown and the south-west region of the island.
