Martin Mahoney

Martin Mahoney is a UK based songwriter and musician. As a child, Martin developed a love of music through his parents playing records and watching the pop shows of the time. Inspired by this Martin formed his first band at high school and with a friend composed their first song "Bad Girl". Excited by this Martin continued to write songs always hoping to improve on the last one. As time passed He performed in various original bands playing around the UK and Europe. With the passage of time , bands came and went, but songwriting was always there!. This being a passion, Martin entered various songwriting contests and seeing his progress as a songwriter started achieving favourable feedback. The last five years have seen Martin grow further as a songwriter securing publishing contracts from US based publishers for his compositions and joining ASCAP. Martin looks forward to growing further as a songwriter and musician.
