I call it roots rock and folk blues. I am committed to creating and performing quality original music with an original voice and covers of music less often heard, and with an individual take. As a guitarist and singer songwriter I paint pictures of people and their joys and struggles in life for those who like their music in rootsy, bluesy and retro style. From the danceable and feel good to the introspective and plaintive, typically nostalgic, earthy but lively, his original music draws you in and holds you. A regular performer in the Albuquerque, NM area for several years. I grew up in the Gulf Coast city of Galveston, TX. My original songs incorporate acoustic folk and blues stylings and electric blues and roots rock with influences ranging from classic r&b, jazz, funk folk-blues and Americana. They are produced with his own bass, harmonica, hybrid picked and slide guitar. I currently use drum loops that I edit and arrange within songs, for release and in my own live backing tracks
