Lee Miller
Born and raised in Southern West Virginia, Lee Miller, 52, grew up with a love for music. At the age of 18 he wrote his first song, and throughout the years has archived well over three hundred or more songs. Playing from the heart, his music is quite unique, in the way that it sounds like no one else. Being influenced over the years by the playing and songwriting of such greats as Steven Curtis Chapman all the way to Neal Schon of Journey, Lee successfully incorporates his own brand of passionate playing into his music. Whether it be Contemporary Christian music, Rock music, or ballads, it's evident that he has found a certain niche that can only be termed as "a planet all his own". "Music is life, music is infinite, timeless, gets us through the ups and downs, and makes us smile during the happy times...makes us appreciate the most minute detail in the life that we have been given. I just want to make someone smile, to sit up and take notice, and to realize that no matter what they are feeling, someone has been there before, seen it all before, and maybe from my own life experiences, they can take something from the music that I write and record, and maybe, just maybe, what they hear will touch them deeply. Music is a gift from GOD, just as life is. It's truly a journey and the soul cries out for the dance." After the small town successes of his first Contemporary Christian CD, "Let Go & Let God" and his 2013 release, "A Road Not Quite Traveled", Lee has been blessed to release three more CD's, 2014's "Forever Infinitely", 2016's "Rise Above", and his currently just released CD, "Love Will Always Be". He's had the chance to play in front of hundreds of people at the Asheville, North Carolina Half Marathon and 10K Race since moving to Bristol, Tennessee in 2013, as well as churches and other events. "I just love, Bristol. My wife and I have a very successful hair salon in Bristol, and the people truly have welcomed us in with open arms as family. I can't see living anywhere else. This is home." 2018 promises to be a stellar year for Lee and his music, and the songs keep coming. He's already planning a Christmas CD to be released in November with a song that's sure to be a hit with Bristol natives called "Christmastime In Bristol". "God blesses me with so much music. I don't just sit down and try to write a song. God gives the songs to me and it's truly a gift that humbles me in so many ways. It's all about the messages He wants me to convey, and I hope that the ones listening find the songs uplifting. That's what it's all about for me."
