Paul Gannell is an Australian singer-songwriter and guitarist known for his work in rock, funk, and blues. He emerged from the pub rock scene in Australia during the late 1970s, playing with bands like Tailor Made, which performed at notable venues like Bombay Rock in Melbourne and supported major acts such as Cold Chisel, Rose Tattoo, and Dragon. His style blends raw, emotive elements of rock, funk, and blues, reflecting his roots in the gritty, smoke-filled pub rock era. Gannell has been involved in various musical projects, including the band Avion, where he replaced Martyn Toole on guitar in 1984, contributing to their single "We've Got Secrets" and the album White Noise (1987).
