From a childhood immersed in music – his father playing guitar and accordion, his mother piano and singing – J Paul developed a lifelong passion for sound. This passion manifested in his instrumental skills, mastering trumpet, euphonium, and trombone in school bands, and his vocal talents in the choir. His musical prowess was recognized when he was selected to tour Europe with a national band during high school. That experience, and his early musical upbringing, fostered a deep appreciation for all genres. J Paul's love for music spans country, bluegrass, rock, hip-hop, jazz, and many others. "I find something personal and relatable in nearly every form of music," he says, "and I love that my interests are not limited to one or two types of music."
