Growing up in a small town I never dreamed that one day I’d be putting out an EP. In fact, I didn’t even know I would be doing music at all. I started playing guitar when I was 17 and I taught myself pretty much everything. Every once in a while, I'd go to downtown Columbia and play and sing on the sidewalk. It sounded kind of crazy at first but then I started making money. It started with some spare change here and there…then someone would throw in a five. As of now, I can name occasions where people donated 20’s or larger. Needless to say, this influenced my subsequent nights of playing. I get a thrill playing for strangers because their opinions are completely unbiased. If they say I sound good, then I feel that they are being honest. They have no reason to lie to me. It’s not like they will ever see me again. The same goes for the ones that ignore me completely. I’m super excited about this EP. There is a total of 5 songs on it and they are all original songs that I wrote. There is variety present for sure which makes it hard to give it a genre. Unfortunately there are no rap songs though..(maybe on the next album). We are planning on charging $5 for each CD. That’s 5 songs, custom designed Digipak and Disc. So, I hope you all plan to support me by buying CD’s and telling others to do the same. I also forgot to mention…it’s going to cost me about $3.50 to make each single CD, so I think we are going to go with a 5 dollar minimum and if you want to support me and my music you are welcome to make donations. All the profits we make from this are going straight to make a full-length album. (hopefully this fall). So yeah, share this page, tell your friends, and help me get my name out there.
