I'm John C. Smith, founder of "The Acoustic Jam". played in my youth for a number of years. Took about 30 years away from playing and picked it up in 2006. Got jump started by a friend, Billy the Beach Guy, I meet on the beach in Delaware. Started playing at a bar in NJ, then was jamming some local musicians then landed a gig at Aqua Sol in Bear DE in August of 2010. Invited a few friends to join me which eventually became an invitation musicians showcase that was held twice a month for over 3 years that I branded "The Acoustic Jam a Musicians Showcase" . Since that time The Acoustic Jam has morphed into a band that plays through DE, MD and PA. I kept the name as "The Acoustic Jam".
