Jack of all instruments master of none, that's me! singer/songwriter of 60% comedy songs and some folk/country/alternative. My Alter-ego is the ukulele playing, slightly risque' George Pornby, Two albums out now plus 4 Christmas EPs of which 20% (and sometimes more) goes to Charity. Thanks also goes to Mike Weight, bass player with our band 'The Bad Men' for his production and technical skills, bass and drums on the Pornby tracks. Based in Hertford Harmonica/Guitar/Banjo/Dulcitar player in a band called The Bad Men, a 4/6 piece (Depending on who turns up) covers/original band. Have also been involved in a comedy Duo called Mavishnu Bells with The enigmatic Ian Middleton. And Folk Trio with the 2 Original Badmen Ben Lumley and Paul Pullin. (Joined with Cajon and harmonies from Steve Bayford) Hertford has many outlets for music with many local pubs and clubs offering music sessions every week. Other alter-egos are Fingus O'Dreary (Sticky Fingus) Grumpy old sea-hating anti-shanty fisherman. Hugh Rinal (Pizzy) Confused folk/rap singer Noel Clod a foppish wit and Medieval Melvyn More recently I play Banjo, Dulcitar, Concertina and Whistle in an Irish band called Myself, Yer Man and the Clan Sometimes I'm just John Bell
