Joanna Weinberg

Joanna is the songwriter for the 2013 feature film Goddess which she co -wrote with Mark Lamprell. She has written 13 original one woman shows including the critically acclaimed Piano Diaries which is available on iTunes. Her award winning musical Lifeforce the mother of all journeys won the Sydney Fringe in 2013 and her soccer parent musical Every Single Saturday toured NSW in 2011.She is currently working with an all female band in a new show called Pandora's Bag , based on handbags and the women who wear them. The show has premiered at Camelot Lounge and will be coming back there in Feb 2016. Joanna also runs songwriting workshops and choirs. She has performed with different bands at the Vanguard, the Sound Lounge, Camelot Lounge, the Butterfly Club, the Hayes Theatre and many more over the last 10 years and is well known in sydney as being an excellent live performer due to her theatre background. Previous original shows include the Piano Diaries, Baroness Bianka's Bloodsongs, 12 Shoes and Sinksongs which was the inspiration for the feature film Goddess.
