Jerry Maniscalco

Jerry has been playing guitar since the age of 16. He has recorded three original CD's. His most recent EP is called “Bold Enough to Try” and includes an edgy new rock sound on “Gypsy Blood”, a mellow/chill vibe on “Riverside”, and a remastered version of his uplifting anthem “We Are”. Other albums are titled "Take What's Left and Make It Right" and "One" as well as his most recent single titled "On My Way" (2017). He is also a two-time guest artist for the military veteran singer-songwriter project "Operation Encore". His contributions included the songs "Wake Up" and "Waiting", as well as "We Are"- an uplifting anthem that underlines themes of common struggle and unity. He draws inspiration from classic rock greats such as Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin while his vocals are reminiscent of more contemporary artists such as John Mayer and Dave Matthews. Jerry's musical experience ranges from musical theater, to classical opera, to rock acapela. His singing experience began in his high school days while involved in musical theater and continued as a member of the United States Naval Academy Men's Glee Club from 2003-2007. During his time with the USNA Men's Glee Club, he performed as a founding member of the rock acapela group, "The Anchormen". Jerry's live acoustic/electric setup combines the traditional sounds of an acoustic guitar with the fullness of an electric guitar. The result is a sound and performance like no other. A typical show consists of both original music and covers and is tailored to suit the venue and audience. Artists covered include Gregg Allman, Boston, Jeff Buckley, Eric Clapton, Marc Cohn, Bob Dylan, Eve 6, Goo Goo Dolls, Jimi Hendrix, Imagine Dragons, Led Zeppelin, Matchbox 20, Dave Matthews, John Mayer, Oasis, Tom Petty, John Prine , Ed Sheeran, Kenny Wayne Shephard, Tonic, Train, Tom Petty, The Verve, and more.
