JANA PERI

Influenced by the British Invasion rock of the 1960s, as well as the punk and new wave of the 1970s and 1980s, NYC vocalist/songwriter/guitarist JANA PERI and her band specialize in hook-laden, harmony-filled power pop/rock that is aggressive yet melodic. JANA was a winner of ROCKRGRL's Discoveries 2004 contest with the song “Dating Sucks” from her self-titled, debut EP. Other critically acclaimed releases include Catching Flies With Vinegar, produced by Daniel Rey (Ramones, Ronnie Spector), the humorous single “I Hate The Holidays (But I Love Spending Them With You)” and “Gallery Whore,” a danceable ode to art gallery party-hopping. www.janaperi.com
