J-Rez born Jared Big Canoe, July 21 1988. J-Rez is a Hip-Hop Artist from Georgina Island First Nation Ontario. J-Rez is currently Recording his second studio album under the independent record label Intertribal Records out of Six Nations Ont. J-Rez is also working on a project with production exclusively by Stan Douglas an talented beat maker from Rama Ont. J-Rez is currently involved in an Diabetes Awareness Initiative called "Reztore Pride" He has a song called "It ain't Easy" which addresses the issue of diabetes in the native community. The song is due to be released on the second Reztore Pride album. J-Rez has been sharpening his skills as a rapper since the age of 12 when he spit his first freestyle. In the past decade J-rez has produced Cd's for his group "Rezset", Released a solo album, Ghost written for aspiring artists, travelled the country, and blessed stages with such talented artists as Kinnie Starr, James Blood, Joey Styles, Da Skelpa Squad, Mayhem Morearty, Lakota Jones and many more.
