The band is currently recording their debut album. Biography Invasive are an Ipswich based 4 piece metal band formed in November 2011, Gus (guitar) joined forces with Sam (bass), to create the EP Extended Pain, and were soon joined by Neil (vocals) A debut E.P entitled "Extended Pain" was recorded in the summer of 2011 and has been heard on various radio stations (DJ Beerman show, The Mosh Pit on Hard Rock Radio) and featured in magazines (Zero Tolerance). "Extended Pain" is available for free at http://www.invasivemetal.com/signup. The line up was completed by Mike (drums) joining in time for the first gig in January 2012. Positive feedback from both the EP and live shows, prompted further writing to complete material for their debut album. Which is soon to be released independently. Invasive are a thrash metal band, influenced by classic bands such as Overkill, Pantera, Exodus and elements of bands such as Six Feet Under and Death, combining these influences to create a sound that is very unique to them. Recording the album at the well known HVR Studios in Ipswich, and produced by Dan B bass player for Criminal, the album is hard, fast and aggressive, an unequivocal statement by a band that is out to stake a place in the future of metal, even earning a mention in Terrorizer's Secret History of… Extreme Britain (September 2112). Looking towards 2013 the band are pushing out from their hometown, aiming at play to a wider audience both in the UK and abroad, with a series of dates that will promote both the album and their brand of thrash metal.
