Graveslave

Extreme death metal, composed of hard hitting jagged riffs, explosive and mutilated breakdowns, rigid and forcefully uncompromising blows to your ear drums Graveslave's musical style is closely associated with dark and twisting riffs that lead to progressive and heavy breakdowns. Unlike some bands, Graveslave can be found engaging with the crowd during a show, jumping into the mosh pit, helping fans onto the stage, bantering between songs. "We like to be up there" vocalist Mike Owen states. "It really shows our fans that we give a shit. Without them, we would be playing to an empty house and no one wants that". The lyrical content of Graveslave may not be for the faint of heart, the band speaks about gruesome acts of violence against mankind and pillaging large amounts of body parts from people for experiments which includes but are limited to probing, cutting, extracting, and rape. All which are very common topics in the death metal genre. Graveslave began in early 2014 in the rising death metal scene state of Minnesota. From the very beginning the members shared a brutal and obscene vision and implemented it into their musical style. Influences range but a few notable ones are Slayer, Decapitated, Cannibal Corpse and many more. Within the first year, the band created seven songs to debut live over local shows and festivals in Minnesota. Titles such as "Absence of Reality", "All That I Despise" and "Dissect and Dispose" were born. These three titles are currently being recorded for the band's up and coming demo release party (TBD).
