Gran Funk Revival - Tribute to Grand Funk Railroad

Gran Funk Revival - Tribute captures the fierce power and energy of the original Grand Funk Railroad members, accurately recreating their Detroit driven rock 'n' roll music that ruled both radio and stage in the 70s. Grand Funk Railroad has sold over 25 million records and were the biggest record-selling American group of 1970's.

They have earned eleven consecutive RIAA [Recording Industry Association of America] Gold Record Awards, 10 platinum and 13 gold albums, 19 charted singles, 8 Top 40 hits and two Number One singles, and had over a million pre-release sales before each album released. They were the 1st American band ever to have sold 10 consecutive platinum records, and the ONLY band ever to sell out Shea stadium in 72 hours. At one point in the 70's, they were selling out more concerts then Led Zeppelin.

Some of Grand Funk Railroad's hit songs included “I'm Your Captain,” “American Band,” “Some Kinda Wonderful,” "Loco Motion", "Bad Time, To Be in Love". It is out of the greatest respect and honor for this great band, that Gran Funk Revival Tribute respectfully plays each song exactly how it was written, played and sung by the original members, in a rock 'n' roll era that will be forever missed, but never forgotten.

Gran Funk Revival’s Mission: Reignite ALL Grand Funk fans, keeping their music alive for fans and new generations, accurately recreate GFR’s amazing musicianship, and sharing the communal energy they had with their fans each show performance - we're comin' to your town!
