JJ grew up in Maine and started gigging professionally by the age of 18 with blues and R&B bands around New England. JJ hit the road for Los Angeles in the 90's, which led to a string of opportunities to play and to learn about the music industry, record in studios, appear on television shows, and tour the U.S. and Europe. JJ moved to Nashville in 2004, splitting his time between running Street Theatre Company with his wife, Cathy, and performing with various artists around the Nashville music scene. JJ now lives in Wilmington, NC, where he juggles a busy schedule of performing, live audio engineering, musical theatre, and other A/V projects around the Cape Fear region.
