While most artist now a days are satisfied with simply singing lyrics, Fountain Delano delivers a song with passion, with that deep down from the soul type of feeling that can put a listener into the pain of losing a lover, or the joy of a late night rendezvous. Although Fountain Delano grew up in a small town in North Carolina, he has never been a stranger to the entertainment industry. Like the majority of great R&B vocalist Fountain began singing Gospel music at an early age. His father & mother both recorded numerous albums, not to mention his mother was signed to Capitol Records and recorded several albums of her own. Despite Fountain Delano’s success in the Gospel arena ( recording & touring with artist like Shirley Caesar & Tommy Ellison), he realized that his heart was more in the R&B music that he had been raised listening to, so at the age of twenty-one Fountain Delano left Warsaw, North Carolina and headed for the bright lights of Los Angeles, California. It didn’t take long for success to find him. In addition to singing back-up for such artist as; Tony Terry, Mtume, Debelah Morgan, and Ollie Woodson of the Temptations, he also co-wrote, arranged, and recorded with Motown artist Georgio. That’s when Fountain decided it was time for him to work on his own project. Fountain’s debut single “Got what you need” is hot!! And it has already been spinning in the clubs throughout California. Aimed at getting people on the dance floor, a departure from the sexy ballads he has become known for, the lyrics, aimed at the ladies insationable desires. But don’t think that Fountain has left the balladering behind, with each song he proves that he can croon with and surpass the best of them, so keep your ears to the grind ladies and gentlemen, Fountain Delano has arrived with his hot new southern soul single “Therez A party”.
