Forlorn Path

Forlorn Path emerged from the basements of the New Brunswick, NJ metal scene in spring 2010 with an eerie raw sound that spoke of their death metal roots and hinted at the evocative darkness that would characterize their later work. Over the years, the band has released two EPs, played a multitude of shows, and gained a small but loyal following locally and worldwide. Their sound evolved greatly throughout this time, their efforts culminating in the Febuary 2013 release of the debut full-length album, Man's Last Portrait. Clocking in at just over an hour, the album tackles topics of loss, lament, and strife – melancholy, at times aggressive, but with small shards of hope glimmering in the darkness.
