Forgotten Garden

Forgotten Garden are a Scottish-Portuguese Indie band that creates lyrically rich, haunting and atmospheric music that crosses genres with elements of indie rock, indie pop, dream pop, dark wave and folk. The haunting vocals are provided by Inês whilst Danny plays most of the instruments. Danny lives in the north of Scotland whilst Inês is currently living in Portugal. They started working together in 2019. Besides releasing two well received EP's we also released eight singles between 2020 and 2025. In January 2026 we released our 9th single "Overlord" which has since featured consistently in Spotify's Discover Weekly . It was described by It's All Indie blog as "a darkly melodic indie-pop gem blending haunting synths, playful vocals and cinematic vibes” On 29/05/26 we released our 10th single which is called “Rain”. Teco Apple said “Rain” delivers a mesmerizing atmosphere built around striking guitars, pulsing beats, and hazy synth lines that drift beautifully through the arrangement, creating a deeply melancholic landscape.” The music of Forgotten Garden is mostly inspired by post-punk bands such as The Cure and The Smiths and earlier bands like The Doors. Inês's vocals are influenced by some of her favourite artists like Florence Welch, Lana Del Rey, Chelsea Wolfe, Weyes Blood, Kelsey Lu and Warpaint.
