Fiddlinda

Linda ("FIDDLINDA") has been playing fiddle since becoming enthralled with the instrument during a 1974 trip to Weiser, Idaho, for the National Oldtime Fiddlers' Contest. Linda was the California Ladies' Fiddling Champion four times in the 1980s, but following a year in Ireland at age 15, she began a lifelong journey to learn and play Traditional Irish music, and has been playing it ever since. She moved to The Big D in Texas in 1990, and has performed in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with several groups playing a variety of styles: JIGGERNAUT, a high energy Celtic rock/blues band; SHAMELESS, a Garth Brooks Tribute band. In early 2014 FIDDLINDA completed her very first solo CD. Called "FIDDLINDA: There & Then, Here & Now," it includes tunes old and new, along with quite a few talented local and guest musicians.
