After the Identity EP, one ten week placement on P4-toppen with the song "Freedom" and a dozen shows the band is now in the making of their first full length album. History The foundation for Exogenous was laid out by clean vocalist Linda Omberg. The band had their first live gigs in 2015 and by then also started planning their first serious release, the Identity EP. Identity was released in the spring of 2017 and the band the following summer met success in the local radio with the song “Freedom” from the EP, which was on the top list P4-toppen for a total of ten weeks. In the fall that year Exogenous did a smaller tour with three shows; Kafé 44 in Stockholm, Hillstreet 1 in Lindesberg and L'Orient in Linköping. In the spring 2018 they played with the bands Methane and Eyes Wide Open in Gävle. Musical style In the early stages Exogenous played melodic metal with main focus on clean vocals. Later the style developed more characteristics of metalcore and post-hardcore and now mixes brutal harsh vocals with softer clean vocals, heavy guitar breakdowns and melodic sweep picking. The bands lyrics depict personal experiences and are often direct and emotional. Where are they now? Right now the band is working on new material for an upcoming full length album.
