Elle & the Fine Lines

Introducing... Elle & the Fine Lines Elle & the Fine Lines have been performing around Nashville for over a year now. This band is fronted by a beautifully charismatic vocalist named Elle. Elle being a native Pennsylvanian cut her teeth on folk and rock, playing to all the Steelers fans. Living in Nashville for over 4 years now Elle has developed a taste for the blues, and soul music. A quote from Blues Review Magazine stated “Elle is a jaw dropping female vocalist, with a commanding voice somewhat like a gutsy, contemporary Billie Holiday.” With her band behind her she is a force to be reckoned with. Guitarist Shawn Starski has been on the road for 12 years and still going. He’s employed by the great blues artist Otis Taylor, and tours with him all over the states and Europe. Also working and playing with many blues artist...Kelley Hunt, Shaun Murphy, Tommy Castro, Elvin Bishop, Jason Ricci and Ronnie Baker Brooks. Shawn Starski has had articles in Vintage Guitar magazine, and reviews of his 1st solo album have been great! A quote from 2013 legendary R&B blues cruise “guitarist Shawn Starski was ready, willing, and able to take the music higher. Starski really impressed; at times his solos were moaning with very effective (human-like) screams, his slide dazzled, and he was probably my favorite guitarist on the entire cruise, Starski is only thirty-three and if he continues on this path, expect great things to come from this underrated and potential future star.” Blues Review Shawn Starski’s 2012 record which featured Elle on two tracks, Won the Nashville Blues Society's category of "Best Self Produced Record of 2012." The band has played Bourbon Street, Soulshine Cafe, Music City Smokehouse, Double Tree (Fanatics) amongst other places. The Smokehouse is a bar EFL plays regularly. EFL are in the process of working on their self release now, so you can expect to hear those originals in the set. As artists we've all had our own influences in musical genres/styles throughout our careers, and I believe this project is a result of all those lil adventures along the way. Sometimes it seems the stars align perfectly, and the components come into plain view...I. suppose that's what Nashville is for. :-) Shawn and I feel proud, happy, and thrilled to have the opportunity to work with such amazing/talented musicians, and foremost to have such loving and supportive families and friends.
