Ed Ritchie

Ed Ritchie began his Christian ministry in 1966 and for many years was the lead singer and guitar player for the "Ritchie and Shepherds". They traveled through the eastern part of United States along with his wife Dorothy and his brother-in-law Roy Shepherd and his wife Lillie Mae. Then later Ed's daughter Melissa and his niece Peggy Shepherd and nephew Gary Shepherd joined the band. They seen many souls over those years come to find Jesus at an old fashion alter, to God be the Glory. Then after Ed begin singing with his family known as the "Ed Ritchie Family" with his daughter Melissa Graves(tenor and rhythm guitar) and her husband Clyde Graves(banjo) and Ed's Grandson Steve Graves(bass guitar). He has another talented grandson that plays music to Kevin Graves, also a granddaughter Kaila and her husband Dustin Vargo known as "Dustin and Kaila" that are very well known in the Southern Gospel genre. Last but not least his oldest daughter Tildi Waters is a help at the church Ed pastors that he could'nt do without. Ed Ritchie now is pastor of the "Elkhart County Community Baptist Church" located in Elkhart, IN. Pastor Ed and Dorothy have seen their fair share of up and downs but the Lord's loving hands has always been there to see them through and they just want to always be faithful servants found doing his will when he returns Amen!
