Don Alder

As winner of the 2011 Worldwide Guitar Idol, 2010 Guitar Superstar contest and 2007 International Fingerstyle Championships, Don Alder has earned his spot as one of the top acoustic guitarists in the world. Don is a guitarist, singer/songwriter with a unique style of playing incorporates fingerpicking with simultaneous percussion to create a wall of sound and is often referred to as the Hendrix of acoustic guitar. His music combines deeply textured melody and rhythm with haunting lyrics. His live performances are jaw dropping. He's been featured Guitar Player Magazine and has racked up more than three million youtube views and his CD “Not a Planet” was nominated for 2 industry awards as “Instrumental CD of the Year”.
