Diversifyd is… positive music incorporating the sound of Gospel Reggae, Jazz, Rock, Soul and Rhythm & Blues. You can be uplifting without preaching. We want to bring comfort to those in need through our sound. Chad Makihele, who writes most of the lyrics and arranged the tracks, plays bass/rhythm guitar. His background of music ranges from reggae, rock, pop to alternative music. Lieni Makihele arranges most of the vocals and has a background of music in pop, jazz and rhythm & blues. Mataio Levao plays the drums. He grew up with island music, choir and oldies. John Malimali plays the percussions and has music background in roots reggae. Marcus Damian who plays the lead guitar, has his background in funk, neo soul, rock and alternative music. Jelani Jones plays the keyboard and has toured with "The Bonedaddys" . Nathan Mills plays the saxophone. This group was put together in 2008-09 after going through different band members for over 8yrs and now going in a different direction with a mission of "Spreadin the Gospel "One Drop" at a time".
