Delta

English DELTA is a progressive metal band, formed by Nicolas Quinteros (Keyboard), Benjamín Lechuga (guitars), Marcos Sanchez (Bass), Felipe del Valle (Vocals) and Andrés Rojas (Drums). The story begins in 2004, when Delta released its first album called "Apollyon is Free". This led to Delta's firsts gigs and to generate audience. In 2005, Benjamin Lechuga was endorsed by Ibanez Guitars and in the middle of the same year, they were called to play with Stratovarius in Chile. After that, in early 2006, due to the growing demand from fans, they released "Black & Cold" and later, in 2007, they played with 2 worldwide metal bands: Symphony x and Vision Divine and at the same time they toured through the South of Chile and then on 2008 they played with Dream Theater at Arena Movistar in Santiago, and in a few months later, they played with"Riders of the storm: The doors". In that same year, they released their third album called "Crashbreaker" and the first DVD ''Live at the Beggining'', which made the band gain great importance in the chilean metal scene. In 2010, they released their fourth album called "Deny Humanity" under the label "Australis Records", which made the band to be called once again to play with Sonata Arctica at the Caupolican Theatre. In 2011, Delta toured once again throughout various locations in Chile in the "Deny Humanity Tour. The same year DELTA recorded their second DVD ''Virtual Live'' under the label ''Australis Records''. In 2013, Delta entered the Hard Rock Rising competition, and through online voting, the band got first place amongst 90 bands around the world. The band is now preparing their next album, entitled "End of Philosophy", which will have the appearence of great guest musicians and producers such as John West, Fredrik Nordstrom and Jens Bogren. La Historia data del 2004 año que dio vida el primer CD bajo el nombre de "Apollyon es libre". Y dio pie para dar nuestros primeros pasos en vivo para generar nuestra propia audiencia. Ya en el 2005 comienzan a ocurrir señales mas transversales como por ejemplo Benjamin Lechuga es endorsado por Ibanez Guitars! Y a mitad del mismo año los llaman para tocar junto a Stratovarius en Chile. La creciente demanda de los fans nos motivan para en el 2006 iniciar las sesiones de grabación para el nuevo álbum llamado "Black & Cold". En el 2007 tocamos junto a SYMPHONY X y VISION DIVINE y al mismo tiempo salimos de los circuitos underground para iniciar una gira por el sur de Chile y luego aterrizar en Santiago el 2008 y tocar junto a Dream Theater en el Movistar Arena.Luego el 15 de abril "Riders of the Storm: The Doors. Ese mismo año se lanzó ''Crashbreaker'' tercer album y el primer DVD ''Live at the beggining'' con estos hitos la banda se impuso en la escena nacional. En el 2010 salió el cuarto disco ''DENY HUMANITY'' bajo el sello ''Australis Records'', gracias a esta nueva placa fueron invitados a tocar con Sonata Arctica en el teatro Caupolican, con este disco en el 2011 DELTA giro por el sur de Chile de nuevo. Ese mismo año grabamos el DVD ''Virtual Live'' el cual salió bajo el sello ''Australis Records''. En el 2013 DELTA obtuvo el primer lugar en las votaciones mundiales del concurso Hard Rock Café Rising de entre 90 bandas de alrededor del mundo. La banda ahora esta preparando su quinta placa titulada ''End of Philosophy'', disco que cuenta con la participación de grandes músicos y productores tales como John West, Fredik Nordstrom y Jens Bogren.
